- Tax Credits - The federal government is offering a tax credit of 30% of the cost up to $1,500.
Rebate Qualifications
- You have occupied the home for at least the past year.
- You expect to occupy the home for the next two years.
- You will allow your utility company to make their billing history available to necessary parties for up to two years prior and two year post installation.
- Your home must be an existing, single-family home.
- You have permanently installed electric resistance heating as your primary source of heat (ie: baseboard heat, ceiling heat, electric wall heaters and/or resistence electric furnace).
- You have no natural gas in your home.
Example of How this might work
The cost of a Daikin two-room ductless heat pump will range from $4,000 – $5,000 depending on installation difficulty.
